Yes, and reflecting back on my upbringing and education, it seems quite rare in this culture to even consider that nature might not be the kind of thing that can fully be "figured out." Based on the reasons I write here, among others, I have become quite confident that this approach to nature as something we can "know" is simply based on a misunderstanding.
